The 57th Annual Nevada City Classic bike race is even bigger and better this year.  Note: downtown Nevada City streets will be closed on Sunday, but town will be opened for business! Join us on the Three Forks patio with a beer and watch the amazing cyclists going around and around and around.

Sierra Harvest Farm Potluck

Sierra Harvest's 1st Farm Potluck of the season takes place this Thursday, June 15th from 5:30-8pm at Riverhill Farm, a lovely 10-acre organic farm at the end of Cement Hill Rd. in Nevada City that produces a variety of heirloom and specialty vegetables and fruits.

The fields at Riverhill Farm are fully planted, creating stunning patchwork of crops and a lovely sight to behold! Come enjoy the beauty of this well-established farm and learn more about Riverhill's family-friendly U-Pick berry patches and weekly farmstand.  If this is your first trip to Riverhill Farm, it likely won't be your last! 
Farm tour starts at 5:30pm with our hosts Alan Haight and Jo McProud with potluck dinner at 6:00pm.  Get more details about the potluck, including directions and what to bring here.  Meet new friends and share a potluck meal with new and old friends!  Sierra Harvest's Farm Potlucks take place the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month through Oct. 5th!

Celebration of Trails

Join Bear Yuba Land Trust and friends for this community Celebration of Trails! We’ll start the day off with hikes on local trails – including an outing at Black Swan Preserve with Hank Meals and a family walk at Hirschman Trail with FREED and Sierra Club - then come together in the afternoon for a festival with information booths, trail maps, gear and more! Like every good celebration, we’ll have food, a special seasonal beer “Hirschman Hefeweizen” from Three Forks Brewing Company, family activities, live music and speakers. Don’t miss the fun!

Ales for Trails

Join your friends and help the Bear Yuba Land Trust kick off a Celebration of Trails with award-winning craft beer and local food! Brewer Dave Cowie has created a special beer just for trails called Hirschman Hefeweizen. From every pint sold, $1 will be donated to local trails! In addition, a portion of proceeds from all Ales for Trails food and beverage sales will be donated back to the Land Trust to support the building of new trails and maintenance of the tried and true trails you love. This event coincides with Nevada County Celebration of Trails on Saturday, June 3.

Beer & Movie Night

Join Three Forks and the Nevada City Film Festival for a night of craft film and craft beer! We will be showing the film Blood, Sweat & Beers, a feature documentary about the explosive growth of the craft beer industry and the dramatic journeys of two start-up breweries. We'll be joined after the film by Tom McCormick, Executive Director of the California Craft Brewers Association, who will update us on what's happening with craft beer in California and answer questions. Love beer? Love cheese?  Curious about how they complement and bring out the best in each other? Learn all about it at a beer & cheese pairing at Three Forks.  Join Three Forks brewer, Dave Cowie, and Wheyward Girl Creamery master cheese maker, Barbara Jenness for a sampling of Three Forks beers & selected cheese. We'll discuss which beers work best with which cheeses and why.  $25 includes 4-5 beer samples and cheeses.  RSVP to info@threeforksnc.com.  Space is limited.

Pre-order organic local pumpkin or apple pies to top off your Thanksgiving dinner.  We also have delicious rosemary or sweet potato dinner rolls. We'll take orders from November 7th-20th. Pick up is on Wed, November 23rd from 10:30am-10pm. To order please stop by Three Forks or give us a call at 470-8333. Payment is due at time of order. Pies are $25 each.  Rolls are $10 for 6.

Sierra Harvest Farm Potluck

Join Sierra Harvest for a farm potluck at Tumbling Creek Farm.  At Three Forks we buy lots of mushrooms and other delicious produce from Tumbling Creek Farm. Tumbling Creek Farm is a 38-acre homestead practicing the art of sustainability. They harvest rain for crops, capture rain in swales, and use biodynamic and permaculture practices. Farmers Marlene and
Cliff Bottenfield and their daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Chris Galvez grow organic and biodynamic oyster, shiitake and lion’s mane mushrooms, as well as eggs, produce, and pasture raised livestock.

Bicycle Music Festival

The Yuba River Bicycle Music Festival is a free, family-oriented, human-powered music event that travels by bike between venues, and features live performances during the rides. The energy for the music amplification comes from the audience as they pedal special generator bikes — using no petroleum or grid power the whole day.

From 5-10pm the festival will be happening on Commercial Street right outside our door. We'll be donating $1 of every beer from 5-10pm to the festival! So come on out for a ride, hear some great music, and have a beer in support of a fossil free future!

Wild for the Yuba

Join us at SYRCL's Wild for the Yuba Beer and Wine Tasting Festival! This year’s celebration is planned for Saturday, June 4 at the historic North Star House in Grass Valley, 12075 Auburn Road, near the Fairgrounds (click here for a map). The evening will feature live music by Swamp Zen, beer and wine tastings (including Three Forks beer), great food for purchase, and hundreds of fabulous auction items donated by local businesses, artists, and others in support of the Yuba. Enjoy a festive kickoff to summer under the stars while helping to protect and restore our beloved Yuba Watershed.
