The cheesemongers at Wheyward worked with Avangardia to select some special cheeses to pair with their wines. We think the combinations are exciting. We'll have homemade beef hot dogs from our friends at V. Miller Meats. All of the fixings and buns will be made from scratch at Three Forks! Sierra Harvest's 1st Farm Potluck of the season takes place this Thursday, June 15th from 5:30-8pm at Riverhill Farm, a lovely 10-acre organic farm at the end of Cement Hill Rd. in Nevada City that produces a variety of heirloom and specialty vegetables and fruits.
The fields at Riverhill Farm are fully planted, creating stunning patchwork of crops and a lovely sight to behold! Come enjoy the beauty of this well-established farm and learn more about Riverhill's family-friendly U-Pick berry patches and weekly farmstand. If this is your first trip to Riverhill Farm, it likely won't be your last!

Join Bear Yuba Land Trust and friends for this community Celebration of Trails! We’ll start the day off with hikes on local trails – including an outing at Black Swan Preserve with Hank Meals and a family walk at Hirschman Trail with FREED and Sierra Club - then come together in the afternoon for a festival with information booths, trail maps, gear and more! Like every good celebration, we’ll have food, a special seasonal beer “Hirschman Hefeweizen” from Three Forks Brewing Company, family activities, live music and speakers. Don’t miss the fun!
Join your friends and help the Bear Yuba Land Trust kick off a Celebration of Trails with award-winning craft beer and local food! Brewer Dave Cowie has created a special beer just for trails called Hirschman Hefeweizen. From every pint sold, $1 will be donated to local trails! In addition, a portion of proceeds from all Ales for Trails food and beverage sales will be donated back to the Land Trust to support the building of new trails and maintenance of the tried and true trails you love. This event coincides with Nevada County Celebration of Trails on Saturday, June 3.
Join Three Forks and the Nevada City Film Festival for a night of craft film and craft beer! We will be showing the film Blood, Sweat & Beers, a feature documentary about the explosive growth of the craft beer industry and the dramatic journeys of two start-up breweries. We'll be joined after the film by Tom McCormick, Executive Director of the California Craft Brewers Association, who will update us on what's happening with craft beer in California and answer questions. Join Sierra Harvest for a farm potluck at Tumbling Creek Farm. At Three Forks we buy lots of mushrooms and other delicious produce from Tumbling Creek Farm. Tumbling Creek Farm is a 38-acre homestead practicing the art of sustainability. They harvest rain for crops, capture rain in swales, and use biodynamic and permaculture practices. Farmers Marlene and
Cliff Bottenfield and their daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Chris Galvez grow organic and biodynamic oyster, shiitake and lion’s mane mushrooms, as well as eggs, produce, and pasture raised livestock.
